What's New for Physicians

St Louis Children's Hospital is one of few centers in the Midwest offering nasoalveolar molding (NAM) to treat children with cleft lip and palate deformities. The presurgical procedure uses an orthodontic appliance to gently direct the growth of the upper jaw and gums in newborns, resulting in a more natural appearance.  

Now available: a doctor-to-doctor quick contact directory for referring physicians to use to locate a Washington University faculty clinician directly prior to referral. This is helpful for unusual or complicated cases or for urgent status patient updates. The directory is Updated daily, and it can be accessed by any mobile device and desktop computer.
